Lotte Central Research Institute Opens Food Safety Metaverse Training Center 'Lotte MetaEduVille'

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Central Research Institute announced on the 3rd that it opened the door to 'Lotte Meta Eduville,' a metaverse food safety education center, in collaboration with the metaverse platform Ovis on the 1st.


Lotte Meta Eduville is a space that realizes the 'Lotte Food Safety Academy Training Center' of the Lotte Central Research Institute Safety Center (hereinafter Lotte Safety Center) in the metaverse.


The Lotte Safety Center has conducted more than 50 training sessions annually for food managers of Lotte Group companies through the Lotte Food Safety Academy and has produced over 1,000 trainees.


Lotte Meta Eduville was created based on the Lotte Central Research Institute building located in Magok. The metaverse space includes the Charlotte Hall, a food safety academy training center where real-time education on food safety can be received, as well as ▲group meeting rooms ▲digital resource rooms ▲food safety Q&A boards ▲play lounges (event zones) ▲rest areas.


Trainees can conveniently move between various spaces to check educational materials, watch related videos, and participate in real-time training. In addition, questions can be immediately resolved through the Q&A board and real-time communication.


A representative of the Lotte Safety Center stated, “Through Lotte Meta Eduville, we will combine our past educational experience with the new attempt of the metaverse to provide diverse curricula,” adding, “Our goal is to achieve flawless food safety by strengthening the food safety management capabilities of Lotte Group companies.”
