"Healthy Grains with Dietary Fiber" Lotte Chilsung Launches 3 Varieties of 'Deohada' Tea Drinks

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 3rd that it has launched three types of tea beverages containing dietary fiber: ‘Thehada Corn Silk Tea, Barley Tea, Burdock Tea.’

The three ‘Thehada’ tea beverages are functional general foods containing 100% domestically produced corn brown rice mixed extract, barley mixed extract, roasted burdock extract, and indigestible maltodextrin dietary fiber, which is known to help suppress postprandial blood sugar rise, improve blood triglycerides, and promote smooth bowel movements.

The packaging features representative raw material images of corn, barley, and burdock for each product along with functional claims prominently displayed on the front, allowing consumers to easily recognize the product’s characteristics at a glance. The 500mL capacity uses aseptic PET bottles with aseptic filling technology, which is also a distinctive feature.

A Lotte Chilsung Beverage official said, “This product is made with domestic ingredients and can be trusted and enjoyed as a tea beverage that lightly quenches thirst instead of water,” adding, “We plan to conduct various promotions such as product sampling in the future.”
