Opening Ceremony of Ham Min-cheol, People Power Party Jeju Provincial Assembly Candidate's Election Office

Ham In-cheol, the People Power Party candidate for Jeju Provincial Assembly, held a policy announcement along with the opening ceremony of his election office on the afternoon of May 1.

[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Chang-won] Ha Min-cheol, a preliminary candidate from the People Power Party running in the Jeju City Yeondong (Eul) electoral district for the Jeju Provincial Council election, held an opening ceremony for his campaign office on the afternoon of the 1st and began actively expanding support.

On this day, with many Yeondong residents and supporters in attendance, candidate Ha said, "For the next four years, please choose someone you can trust and entrust, the neighborhood leader Ha Ban-jang who will definitely achieve results," adding, "Yeondong residents need a person with experience and drive," promising to serve as a local worker.

Candidate Ha expressed regret over Yeondong's stagnation and even decline over the past four years, citing his achievements during his 12 years as a provincial council member, including the development of Baojen Street, the establishment of 'Singwang Senior Center' and 'Sangnoksoo Senior Center,' as well as the expansion of the entrance to Jeseong Village and the creation of a park, emphasizing his experience as a three-term Jeju Provincial Council member.

He continued, "I have decided to run again to become an honest messenger who can lead regional development through candid dialogue with local residents based on conviction and principles," and appealed, "I want to conclude my 20-year political journey as a worker for Yeondong. I ask you to put the final period on that."

As his local pledges, candidate Ha promised, "I will definitely create the happiest Yeondong and a livable Jeju with the '3+1 pledges': a safe Yeondong from disasters and accidents, a cultural district Yeondong well-equipped with cultural welfare, a resident-happiness Yeondong with activated apartment communities, and an animal welfare Yeondong where pets and their owners are happy."
