Introducing 9 Key Items for SK's Net Zero Achievement
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] The 'Factory Garden' has been created at SK Telecom's ICT complex cultural space T Factory, which has emerged as a 'Hongdae hot place.'
According to SK Telecom on the 2nd, the Factory Garden located on the 1.5th floor of T Factory is a natural garden decorated with living plants and lush trees. It was created to allow visitors to experience healing through the harmony of nature and digital. Customers can relax and watch videos emphasizing the importance of carbon reduction on a 500-inch large LED screen.
Through tablets installed in the Factory Garden, SK introduces nine items for achieving net zero presented at 'CES 2022': ▲EV batteries ▲hydrogen ▲green energy ▲eco-friendly plastics ▲eco-friendly semiconductors ▲clean solutions ▲CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage) ▲green lifestyle ▲carbon-free society.
Customers can choose one of the nine items and pledge to take action. Those who make a pledge receive a certificate of promise via text message (MMS). SK Telecom donates 1,000 Happiness Credits each time a customer participates in the pledge.
Kim Sang-beom, head of distribution at SK Telecom, stated, “We will continue to strive to enable many customers to experience SK Telecom’s various ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities at T Factory.”
