[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] The housing market in the first week of May is expected to remain quiet as the new government’s real estate policy direction has not been officially announced ahead of its inauguration.
According to Real Today, a real estate research firm, a total of 3,579 units (including officetels, urban lifestyle housing, and public sales, excluding Happy Housing) will accept subscription applications in 11 locations nationwide during the first week of May. Although this is an increase from last week’s 2,478 units, the supply volume is still not high considering it is the “spring peak season.”
In the provinces, brand apartments from major construction companies are about to be launched. On the 3rd, Daewoo E&C will accept first-priority subscription applications for “Seochungju Prugio The First,” located in Judeok-eup, Chungju-si, Chungbuk. The complex consists of 8 buildings, ranging from 4 basement floors to 37 above-ground floors, with 1,029 apartments (exclusive area 74~124㎡), 140 residential officetels (exclusive area 84㎡), totaling 1,169 units.
On the same day, SK Ecoplant will accept first-priority local subscription applications for “Centum Astrum SK VIEW,” located in Banyeo 1-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan. The complex consists of 8 buildings, ranging from 2 basement floors to 28 above-ground floors, with units sized 59~84㎡, totaling 750 units. Among these, 544 units will be sold to the general public.
In the metropolitan area, excluding Seoul, two locations will proceed with sales. In Gyeonggi, “e-Pyeonhansesang Siheung Janghyeon First Venue” is preparing for public sales on the 3rd, and on the same day in Incheon, “Incheon City Hall Station Hanshin The Hue” will be supplied.
Model houses will open in three locations, winners will be announced in nine locations, and contracts will be conducted in 17 locations.
