Netflix's 'Jongi-ui Jip' Korean Version to Premiere on June 24

Netflix announced on the 29th that it will release "Money Heist: Joint Economic Area" Part 1 on June 24. It is the Korean version of the globally successful Netflix Spanish original series "Money Heist." Part 1 consists of six episodes. The release date for Part 2 is yet to be determined. The setting is the Korean Peninsula on the verge of unification. The story depicts a hostage robbery drama involving a genius strategist and robbers with distinct personalities and abilities. The cast includes Yoo Ji-tae, Kim Yoon-jin, Park Hae-soo, Jeon Jong-seo, Lee Won-jong, Park Myung-hoon, Kim Sung-oh, Kim Ji-hoon, Jang Yoon-ju, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Hyun-woo, Kim Ji-hoon, and Lee Kyu-ho. The screenplay was written by writer Ryu Yong-jae, known for "Liar Game," "The Piper," and "Peninsula." The director is Kim Hong-sun, who directed "Warrior Baek Dong-soo," "Hero," "The Piper," and "The Age of Rebellion."
