[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Se-ryeong] The Democratic Party of Korea's Gyeongnam Provincial Party Committee will hold an audition to select the proportional representation ranking for the metropolitan council at 2 p.m. on May 1.
The party committee plans to hold the audition at Changwon Convention Center (CECO) Room 600, and reported that there are 11 candidates eligible for the proportional representation ranking selection.
The audition participants include Min Ho-young, former director of the Gyeongnam office of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation; Park Myung-deok, head of the Gyeongnam Disabled Products Sales Facility; Park Yoo-ra, deputy director of public relations for the Democratic Party's National Youth Party; Byun Cheol-ho, advisor to the Prime Minister; and Seo So-yeon, former regional chairperson of the Democratic Party in Jinju-si Eul.
Also on the list are Shin Soon-jung, former officer of the Gyeongnam Social Innovation Promotion Team; Shin Ji-hoon, former director of the Gyeongnam Youth Center; Shim Kyung-sook, chairwoman of the party's women's committee; Yoo Hyung-jun, senior vice chairman of the Korean Federation of Trade Unions Gyeongnam Headquarters; Perez Jacqueline, chairwoman of the party's multicultural committee; and Han Sang-hyun, coordinator of the Hamyang-gun Urban Regeneration Center.
