Gwangsan-gu Child Meal Management Support Center Holds Menu Review Committee Meeting

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangsan-gu Children's Meal Management Support Center in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 29th that it held the 1st 2022 Regional Children's Center Menu Review Committee meeting on the 27th at the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Welfare Hall of Honam University.

At the meeting, four representatives of regional children's centers registered with the Gwangsan-gu Center were appointed as committee members, and they discussed the results of the menu operation for the first half of 2022 and plans for menu operation in the second half of the year.

According to the revision of the Special Act on Children's Dietary Life, children's meal sites without nutritionists for fewer than 100 people are required to register with the Children's Meal Management Support Center, which supports nutrition management tailored to the characteristics of registered children's meal sites in the jurisdiction.

Accordingly, the Gwangsan-gu Children's Meal Management Support Center reflects the opinions of regional children's centers through the Menu Review Committee and takes the lead in promoting children's health by providing healthy and highly preferred menus to 71 regional children's centers in Gwangsan-gu.
