[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters will hold a "Our Neighborhood Classical Music Concert" with local residents at 7 p.m. on May 3 and 4 for two days at the Gori Sports Culture Center Multi-Performance Hall located in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan.
This concert was planned to provide local residents, exhausted from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, with an opportunity to enjoy high-quality classical performances. Top domestic conductor Seo Hee-tae and the KNN Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra will participate to present the best classical performance.
The maestro Seo Hee-tae of this performance is a top-tier domestic conductor who gained fame as the role model and artistic director of the MBC drama "Beethoven Virus."
The KNN Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra was the first symphony orchestra founded by a local broadcaster to popularize classical music in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions, and has been acclaimed for performances that communicate with the audience through constantly new programs.
In this concert, under the theme "Family Classics Enjoyed Even Without Any Knowledge: Vivaldi's Four Seasons," conductor Seo Hee-tae will provide easy-to-understand and entertaining commentary, while the KNN Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra beautifully expresses the seasons from spring to winter through their melodies.
Additionally, violinist Kim Hye-jung, who graduated at the top of her class from the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts in Austria, will participate as a soloist, conveying the rich atmosphere of the seasons with detailed sensitivity. Soprano Kim Eun-young will also perform, presenting a rich spring repertoire.
Lee Kwang-hoon, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "I hope this will be a time for residents exhausted by COVID-19 to overcome the COVID blues and enjoy happy leisure." This concert is free for all local residents to attend, and all attendees will receive souvenirs. An event offering free photo sessions followed by commemorative frames will also be held.
