Sancheong-gun Promotes Establishment of 'Early Childhood Forest Experience Center' in Seongcheol Park

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it will create a 'Forest Experience Center for Toddlers' in Mukgok Ecological Forest of Seongcheol Park, Danseong-myeon.

The newly established Forest Experience Center for Toddlers is planned to be used as a space where young children can interact with nature and develop their imagination in the forest.

Through programs that allow experiencing various functions of the forest, it is expected that children will develop their five senses by freely running, seeing, hearing, feeling, and touching in nature.

Sancheong-gun plans to assign forest experience instructors for toddlers in 2023 to conduct educational programs targeting daycare centers and kindergartens once the center is established.

Additionally, it will be available for family visitors accompanied by general toddlers.

An official from the county said, “Through nature-friendly play experience events, we will help toddlers become friends with nature,” and added, “We will strive to foster toddlers' emotional development and create a safe Forest Experience Center for Toddlers.”
