[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 28th that it will launch ‘Byeolbit Cheongha Sparkling.’ This is the first new product under the ‘Cheongha’ brand in 10 years since the release of ‘Cheongha Dry’ in 2011.
Byeolbit Cheongha Sparkling is a product blending Cheongha with white wine and carbonation, with an alcohol content of 7%, allowing consumers to enjoy the clean flavor unique to Cheongha along with the delicate carbonation of white wine. The packaging of Byeolbit Cheongha Sparkling visually expresses the carbonation by using imagery reminiscent of stars in the night sky. Additionally, singer and actress Kim Sejeong was selected as the product model.
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage official stated, “As consumers who enjoy the atmosphere with low-alcohol drinks are increasing, we have launched Byeolbit Cheongha Sparkling for light enjoyment,” and added, “We plan to conduct active marketing activities by selecting Kim Sejeong, who has a clear and pure image, as the model.”
