Cham Food Farm's Sales Increase 17 Times After Joining Coupang... Introducing Successful Cases of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses on the Platform
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coupang announced that it will participate in the '2022 Gyeongbuk Sale Festa First Half Product Review' held on the 28th. The Gyeongbuk Sale Festa Product Review, co-hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency, was organized to support the expansion of online sales channels for small and medium-sized merchants and small and medium enterprises located in Gyeongsangbuk-do.
At this event, Coupang will share specific sales experiences through presentations of successful cases from actual partner companies. The company introduced on this day is Cham Food Farm, a meat processing company that joined Coupang through the 'Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Coupang & Gyeongbuk Product Review' last year and has shown continuous growth since then. Cham Food Farm recorded a growth rate of about 17 times within four months of joining Coupang.
Coupang explained that for fresh food companies like Cham Food Farm, Coupang's Rocket Fresh service enables fast and fresh delivery of products to customers nationwide. It also added that by purchasing products directly, it creates a transaction environment where small business sellers can focus solely on production and supply.
Lee Beom-han, Coupang Rocket Fresh Brand Manager, said, "The Gyeongbuk Sale Festa Product Review is a great opportunity to provide various sales know-how and online sales channels to local small merchants," adding, "We will continue our efforts to coexist and grow together with local small merchants."
