[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui University signed a business agreement with the Busan Machinery Industry Cooperative on the 26th at the cooperative's meeting room in Hwajeong-dong, Gangseo-gu, to promote industry-academia cooperation.


The signing ceremony was attended by Dong-Eui University’s Vice President for External Affairs Kim Seon-ho, Director of the Early Employment Contract Department Kim Sam-yeol, professors in charge of the contract department, and Busan Machinery Industry Cooperative Chairman Jeong Yong-hwan, among others.


According to the agreement, the two institutions will expand exchanges and promote various joint projects for mutual development, including ▲human resource development projects through the Early Employment Contract Department ▲joint technology development through industry-academia cooperation ▲education and training for talent cultivation.


Kim Sam-yeol, Director of the Early Employment Contract Department at Dong-Eui University, said, “We hope to provide opportunities for the university’s talents to thrive in local small and strong enterprises,” adding, “We will do our best to nurture customized talents needed by companies affiliated with the cooperative by leveraging the characteristics of the Early Employment Contract Department.”


The Busan Machinery Industry Cooperative was established in 1962 for the development of small and medium-sized machinery industries in the Busan area and mutual growth through cooperative projects. Currently, about 370 member companies belong to the cooperative.
