The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 27th that the animation professional workforce training project established last year has achieved meaningful results. This project aims to cultivate production personnel who can be immediately deployed on site. Hiring companies are selected through the Korea Animation Industry Association and the Korea Animation Producers Association, and personnel are trained and guided according to their demand. It is highly evaluated for its effectiveness by providing comprehensive support including labor costs, education, and mentoring.

This year, thirty-six companies including Locus and Studio TNT are participating to employ forty-five trainees. A representative from Taktoon Enterprise, which participated last year, said, "We are satisfied because we can hire verified talents through concurrent education and internships." Kim Ji-yoon, a trainee employed at Locus, said, "I was involved in the animation lighting work for the drama 'Yumi's Cells' during the internship," adding, "It was useful to apply the Unreal Engine skills acquired during the training course."

The Korea Creative Content Agency plans to strengthen education in 2D and 3D animation practical production, basic and advanced real-time engine, motion capture, etc., reflecting industry demand. They also plan to expand related budgets and participation scale to help secure high-quality production personnel.
