Korea Airports Corporation Holds Nationwide Airports Joint Safety Workshop


[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 26th that it held a ‘Parent and Subsidiary Joint Safety Workshop’ to prevent serious accidents.


The workshop, held the previous day at the headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, was attended by safety and health managers from all workplaces including 14 airports nationwide and three subsidiaries, who presented and discussed best practices in safety management. Special training was conducted by inviting safety experts to explore directions for the development of safety management and to strengthen the commitment to implementation.


President Yoon Hyung-jung gave special awards to outstanding employees who contributed to improving the safety of workers and the public, and created an opportunity to listen to field difficulties, fostering a consensus on safety management among all employees.


President Yoon stated, “Airport safety is essential for the recovery of the post-COVID-19 aviation industry,” and added, “We will do our best to establish a close safety network between parent and subsidiary companies and realize the safest airports through ESG management.”
