Series Apartment Boom... Jeil Construction Launches 'Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 2nd Phase' Sales

The popularity of series apartments in the sales market is steadily increasing, drawing attention. Analysts suggest that increasingly cautious buyers are showing growing interest in series apartments that have already been proven in the market.


In fact, apartments supplied as follow-up complexes after the success of the first phase continue to soar in popularity. For example, ‘Forena Busan Deokcheon 2nd Phase,’ sold in Deokcheon-dong, Buk-gu, Busan in July last year, closed its subscription with an average competition rate of 207.35 to 1. Similarly, ‘Unjeong New Town Jeil Punggyeongchae 2nd Phase Grand Venue’ and ‘Unjeong New Town Jeil Punggyeongchae 3rd Phase Grand Foret,’ sold in Dayul-dong, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do in July and November of the same year, respectively, also attracted high interest as follow-up complexes, recording average competition rates of 20.04 to 1 and 66.54 to 1, respectively.


The popularity of series apartments continues this year as well. Notably, ‘Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 3rd Phase,’ conducted as a private pre-sale in Geomdan New Town in January, drew attention as a follow-up complex to ‘Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 1st Phase,’ which successfully closed last December with the highest number of subscription applications in Geomdan New Town, finishing first-priority subscription with an average competition rate of 81.88 to 1.


Also, ‘Hillstate Lake Songdo 4th Phase,’ supplied last month in Songdo International City, attracted attention as a follow-up complex of the Hillstate brand apartments consecutively introduced within Songdo Landmark City, closing first-priority subscription with a top competition rate of 34.18 to 1.


An industry insider said, "The stability verified in the market through the success of previous complexes, combined with upgraded product features compared to earlier projects, is earning high marks from buyers seeking a solid home, steadily increasing popularity." He added, "Moreover, series apartments have the advantage of forming brand towns due to large-scale supply of the same brand apartments, which is favorable for future premiums, leading to sustained high interest."


Meanwhile, in Geomdan New Town this month, Jeil Construction Co., Ltd. is supplying ‘Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 2nd Phase’ as a follow-up complex to ‘Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 1st Phase’ and ‘Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 3rd Phase,’ which successfully completed sales at the end of last year and early this year, respectively.


Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 2nd Phase will be developed in Geomdan New Town with 1,734 households across underground 2 floors to a maximum of 29 floors above ground, featuring exclusive areas of 74, 84, and 110 square meters. It is the largest private apartment complex in Geomdan New Town, characterized by a floor plan composition that includes highly preferred small-to-medium-sized units as well as recently popular medium-to-large-sized units.


In particular, Jeil Punggyeongchae Geomdan 2nd Phase is expected to form a large-scale Jeil Punggyeongchae brand town of about 5,000 households, including the successfully sold 1st and 3rd phases and the upcoming 4th phase, which is anticipated to generate premium value and further increase attention.


The complex will apply various specialized designs unique to Jeil Punggyeongchae, which led the successful sales of the 1st and 3rd phases.
