Seven of the 26 missing persons from the tourist boat sinking accident in Hokkaido, Japan have been found.
According to local media on the 24th, seven of the missing were found in the morning, all unconscious and transported to a nearby hospital.
Earlier, on the afternoon of the 23rd, a tourist boat carrying 26 people sank off the coast of the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, Japan.
The tourist boat reported to the Japan Coast Guard that the bow was flooding and sinking, and after notifying that "the hull was tilted about 30 degrees," contact was lost.
The Japan Coast Guard is conducting a search of the accident area by dispatching helicopters and patrol vessels.
