Gimhae City's First Annual Corporate Recruitment Management System in the Province, 'Good-Job'!

Job Recruitment and Job Seeking Services Launching This June

Gimhae City's First Annual Corporate Recruitment Management System in the Province, 'Good-Job'! Gyeongnam Gimhae City Hall.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, is establishing the annual corporate recruitment management system called the ‘Gimhae Good-Job System.’

The city announced on the 20th that it will create the province’s first annual corporate recruitment management system to help resolve companies’ hiring difficulties and assist job seekers in finding quality companies.

According to the city, over 7,600 companies in Gimhae are struggling due to insufficient workforce supply, while job seekers are running around without finding proper jobs, expanding the recruitment and job-seeking difficulties.

Companies currently use recruitment platforms such as Saramin and JobKorea, as well as paid recruitment management systems, but still find it difficult to hire the desired talent.

The city decided to build the system to systematically manage corporate recruitment plans, provide proactive job matching services, and contribute to employment stability by linking with job projects.

A city official said, “The most urgent issue for local manufacturing-centered companies is filling the workforce shortage,” adding, “This will help solve long-term employment instability and also revitalize the local economy.”

The Gimhae Good-Job System will cover all companies in the region and allow ▲ input of companies’ regular and occasional recruitment plans ▲ customized matching by the Gimhae City Job Support Center ▲ and compilation of recruitment result statistics all at once.

The service is scheduled to be provided from June after a construction period from April to May on the Gimhae City Job Support Center website.

A city official said, “Once the system is established, companies using private recruitment systems will reduce their expenses, and workforce matching will be quickly supported in connection with the Job Support Center,” adding, “We expect that job seekers will also be properly provided with the necessary company information for employment.”

Gimhae City plans to operate the system linked with locally driven job projects, job fairs, and other independent projects, and utilize it for recruitment events and job projects conducted by universities and job-related institutions.
