[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Orion announced on the 20th that it has signed a "Business Agreement for Joint Construction of Kakao i LaaS Logistics System" with Kakao Enterprise.
Through this agreement, Orion will apply Kakao Enterprise's logistics platform, "Kakao i LaaS," to improve its logistics system. The company plans to enhance efficiency so that products manufactured at factories can be supplied timely to necessary locations such as dealerships and sales offices, and to systematize infrastructure management including logistics warehouses and sales vehicle operations more than before.
Kakao Enterprise plans to support Orion by providing technologies such as Artificial Intelligence Contact Center (AICC) and Customer Experience Management (CEM) to improve logistics operation efficiency. "Kakao i LaaS" is a logistics ecosystem platform that connects everything related to logistics business by utilizing IT platform technologies and know-how such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud owned by Kakao Enterprise. Its strength lies in enabling client companies and logistics service providers to easily connect through the Kakao i LaaS platform and flexibly use logistics infrastructure as needed.
Seungjun Lee, CEO of Orion, said, "We expect the efficiency of Orion's logistics system to be further enhanced by applying Kakao Enterprise's advanced IT technology," and added, "We will provide differentiated customer value by establishing infrastructure that can supply high-quality products in a timely manner."
