[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Han Ga-in and Yeon Jeong-hoon, a married couple of 18 years, revealed a story about almost breaking up because of a 'damselfly gift.'
On the 17th, KBS2's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' (2 Days & 1 Night) aired a special episode 'Isn't It Good in Gurye' featuring the travel story of Han Ga-in and Yeon Jeong-hoon.
On that day, while moving to the next filming location, a green tea field, Han Ga-in and Yeon Jeong-hoon shared their love story, attracting attention. Yeon Jeong-hoon recalled, "My wife wrote a letter and made it into a cake shape."
Then Han Ga-in said, "She wrote a letter and made it by sticking it like a cake," adding, "Also, since my husband likes cars, I made a car-shaped cake with his name engraved on it as a gift," which drew admiration.
On the other hand, there was also a not-so-romantic gift. Han Ga-in laughed and said, "My husband is really afraid of damselflies. Since I am playful, I once caught a damselfly and put it in a box as a gift."
In response, Yeon Jeong-hoon joked, "I have a memory of being bitten when I was young, so I really hate damselflies. We almost broke up because of it," causing laughter.
