The Yeoksam District Urban Development Project located in Cheoin-gu, Yongin City, announced that it has completed preparations for the commencement of land development construction.
The Yongin Yeoksam District Urban Development Project is a project to develop the Yeokbuk-dong area in Cheoin-gu, Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province. The project area covers 209,210 pyeong (approximately 691,604 m²), divided into a central commercial area of 183,707 pyeong (607,296 m², 87.8%) and a natural green zone of 25,503 pyeong (84,308 m², 12.2%).
In particular, the Yeoksam District located in Cheoin-gu, Yongin City, is a large-scale urban development area with Yongin City Hall situated directly opposite, and it is expected to bring various benefits upon urban development.
Dowu Icons Co., Ltd., Hanyang Securities Co., Ltd., Korea Land Trust Co., Ltd., and Dongbu Construction Co., Ltd. have secured a project budget of 800 billion KRW and completed preparations for the commencement of land development construction, a long-awaited project for the Yeoksam District association members.
An official stated, “Once the Yeoksam District development progresses, it is expected to generate a large-scale economic ripple effect, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy,” adding, “It will proceed with active administration and strong momentum.”
