[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Daegu University, together with the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency, held the 'Youth Designer Recruitment Fair' on the 13th to create jobs for excellent local design professionals.
Thirty-two outstanding local small and medium-sized enterprises and students from eight design-related departments attended, conducting face-to-face consultations and on-site interviews for designer recruitment simultaneously.
On the day, professors from the College of Fine Arts, representatives from the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency, and company officials met to discuss ways to increase youth employment rates in the design field and resolve job mismatches.
Dean Kim Si-man said, "This recruitment fair was specially prepared focusing on the design field," adding, "We hope to resolve job mismatches by aligning the expectations between local companies and youth."
