4 Colleges, 131 Departments, Online Registration from May 16 to 27
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University Graduate School is recruiting new students for the second semester of the 2022 academic year. Applications will be accepted online from May 16 to 6 p.m. on May 27 for 131 departments across 4 faculties.
The master's program admits 140 students (122 at Gajwa Chilam Campus, 18 at Tongyeong Campus), and the doctoral program (including integrated master's and doctoral programs) admits 28 students (26 at Gajwa Chilam Campus, 2 at Tongyeong Campus).
The contract department, Convergence Mechanical Engineering (doctoral program), targets individuals who have worked for more than 3 years at small and medium-sized (or mid-sized) enterprises and are currently employed for more than 6 months at a company.
Also, the Aerospace Convergence Engineering department (master's and doctoral programs) recruits those who have worked for more than 3 years at Korea Aerospace Industries. Government-sponsored students and North Korean defectors are also recruited (master's program).
Gyeongsang National University Graduate School also offers a special admission track for foreigners and overseas Koreans (246 students). Foreigners are those whose both parents are foreigners, and overseas Koreans are those who have completed the entire education curriculum equivalent to Korea's elementary, middle, high school, and university education abroad.
Applications for the special admission track for foreigners and overseas Koreans are accepted from May 4 to May 20, and required documents must be submitted by May 24. The major academic ability evaluation will be conducted from June 15 to 17.
Gyeongsang National University Graduate School is growing into a world-class institution in specialized fields such as agricultural life sciences, mechanical aerospace, and nano new materials and chemistry.
It has been selected for the 4th phase BK21 project, a graduate manpower development project, with 7 research groups and 1 research team conducting research activities.
It has also been selected for the graduate school innovation support project and is currently carrying out graduate school innovation at a global level.
