[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is returning with a new album on May 9.

Tomorrow X Together (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) announced on the 14th via Weverse that they will release their fourth mini album, 'minisode 2: Thursday's Child,' next month. The album will be available for pre-order starting that day.

Starting with their debut album 'The Dream Chapter: STAR,' Tomorrow X Together sang the growth story of boys chasing their dreams through the 'The Dream Chapter' series, including their first full album 'The Dream Chapter: MAGIC' and their second mini album 'The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY.'

Last year, they concluded the 'Chaos Chapter' series by releasing their second full album 'The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE' and the repackage album 'The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE.'

Tomorrow X Together has gained worldwide popularity with trendy melodies, sincere lyrics that evoke empathy, and solid storytelling. With 'The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE,' they set a personal best by ranking 5th on the US Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200,' and entered the year-end 'Billboard 200' chart last year.

In particular, 'The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE' and 'The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE,' released last year, were the only K-pop artist albums to be included in the 'Top 50 Best Albums of the Year' announced by the UK music magazine NME and the US representative music magazine Rolling Stone, respectively.
