Gwangju City Supports AI Prototype Production and Product Advancement

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Metropolitan City and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group are recruiting companies to participate in the ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) Prototype and Advancement Support Project’ until May 9.

The AI prototype and service support project for the new production of AI-applied products targets startups less than 7 years old, selecting about 30 new projects and providing a total of 2.3 billion KRW, with 50 million to 150 million KRW per project.

Additionally, the AI product and service advancement support project, which funds the improvement and enhancement of existing AI products, provides support of 50 million to up to 250 million KRW per project for about 5 projects, totaling 750 million KRW, targeting startups.

Selected companies will also receive additional support through startup support programs promoted by the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group, including office space at the Gwangju AI Startup Camp, AI startup education, quality improvement and regulatory relief consulting, and participation in conferences.
