Hanyang Wins Bid for Publicly Supported Private Rental Housing in Ulsan Bangudong

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Hanyang has won the bid for the Ulsan Banggu-dong Publicly Supported Private Rental Housing project.

The Hanyang consortium announced on the 14th that it was selected as the preferred negotiator for the Ulsan Banggu-dong project site in the 4th round of the 2021 Publicly Supported Private Rental Housing Private Proposal Project by the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG). The private proposal project for private rental housing involves rental businesses acquiring housing for the purpose of renting it out for more than 10 years.

The publicly supported private rental housing project in Banggu-dong, Jung-gu, Ulsan Metropolitan City will be constructed in the Banggu-dong area. It will consist of a building with 4 basement floors and 17 above-ground floors, offering 4 types of units ranging from 59㎡ to 84㎡ in exclusive area, totaling 192 households of apartment housing and neighborhood living facilities, which will be provided for rent for 10 years after completion.

A Hanyang official stated, “We will continue to expand our order channels beyond simple contracting projects by strengthening our architectural and construction capabilities, including trust-linked projects and youth housing near subway stations.”
