On the 14th, Gogo Studio announced, "Actors Yeo Jin-goo, Jo Yi-hyun, Kim Hye-yoon, Na In-woo, and Bae In-hyuk have been cast in 'Donggam' (directed by Seo Eun-young)," adding, "Filming will begin this May."
'Donggam' depicts the love and friendship that unfold between a man and a woman who communicate through a walkie-talkie by chance, set against the backdrop of the eras they each live in.
Yeo Jin-goo plays Yong, a returning student from the 1995 mechanical engineering class, and Jo Yi-hyun portrays Mu-ni, a 2021 sociology student. Kim Hye-yoon has been cast as Han-sol, Yong's first love, and Na In-woo as Yeong-ji, Mu-ni's kind and caring male friend. Bae In-hyuk joins as Eun-seong, Yong's close friend from the same department.
Director Seo Eun-young, who won awards at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and was invited to the New Director Competition at the Warsaw International Film Festival for the film 'Confession,' is directing this project.
