[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jin-Hyung Park] The Female Professors' Association of Honam University announced on the 14th that it signed a business partnership agreement with the Gwangju Child Welfare Association to support young adults preparing for independence in the Gwangju area.
Through this agreement, the Female Professors' Association of Honam University plans to provide mentoring activities and counseling support services related to their majors to enhance the self-reliance capabilities of young adults preparing for independence in the Gwangju region.
At the signing ceremony, Honam University was represented by Lee Young-bin, President of the Female Professors' Association (Professor of Tourism Management), along with Professors Bae Eun-kyung (Department of Social Welfare), Park Soo-hee (Department of Occupational Therapy), and Lee Hee-seung (Department of Hotel Management). From the Gwangju Child Welfare Association, Vice President Choi Mo-se (Director of Gwangju Yeongsinwon), Director Kim Yo-sep (Director of Sinhaewon), and Director Min Jae-woong (Director of Yongjin Childcare Center) attended respectively.
Vice President Choi Mo-se of the Gwangju Child Welfare Association said, “We are grateful to the Female Professors' Association of Honam University for promising good mentoring and counseling support to young adults preparing for independence in Gwangju.”
Lee Young-bin, President of the Female Professors' Association of Honam University, said, “We are pleased to be able to provide mentoring support to young adults preparing for independence, and since there are about 90 female professors belonging to over 40 diverse major fields, we expect to actively support counseling related to their majors based on our expertise.”
