Lotte Homeshopping's Bellygom Exhibition Surpasses 2 Million Visitors in Just 2 Weeks On the 14th, people are viewing the Bellygom exhibition at the main plaza of Lotte World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 14th that its own character Bellygom's public exhibition surpassed 2 million visitors in just two weeks.


Lotte Homeshopping planned the Amazing Bellygom public exhibition, installing a 15-meter-tall Bellygom as tall as a 4-story apartment building and six 2-meter-tall Bellygoms to bring hope to citizens weary from COVID-19.


From the start, the exhibition became famous as a hotspot for photo certification shots, attracting 500,000 visitors within three days. The pop-up store-style goods shop sold out its limited daily products within an hour. On social media, over 20,000 posts about Bellygom were published, and the Bellygom TV YouTube channel surpassed 500,000 subscribers. Sales on the online store Bellygom.com also increased more than fivefold.


Lotte Homeshopping extended the exhibition schedule by one week, continuing until the 24th. On-site, there will be hidden camera events where Bellygom appears to surprise visitors. Starting from the 18th, large quantities of popular products will be secured and offered on Bellygom.com.


A Lotte Homeshopping official said, “To repay the support of many citizens, we extended the exhibition schedule by one week. We plan to continuously provide joy and healing through Bellygom to people tired from COVID-19 by operating follow-up exhibitions and pop-up stores nationwide.”
