[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Ringer Studio, an NFT (Non-Fungible Token)-based music IP marketplace service, has been newly selected for the TIPS program, a private investment-led technology startup support program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Ringer Studio is a blockchain-based global IP free marketplace service using NFTs. Its first project is scheduled to launch a music IP trading service in June. TIPS is a private investment-led technology startup support program that discovers companies with technology items leading the global market and provides up to 700 million KRW in research funds over two years.
Ringer Studio was recognized for its development technology of an IP value evaluation system using a distribution-level type matching method that enables fast and accurate intellectual property value assessment. It was also selected for TIPS for its NFT module development for copyright certification, which enables economic value linkage with physical assets, and for its proprietary audio watermark technology that protects intellectual property rights and establishes a transparent copyright consumption environment.
Ham Jong-wook, CEO of Ringer Studio, stated, "We will focus on service advancement to secure excellent technology and differentiation, striving to achieve world-class global competitiveness," adding, "We are preparing for both domestic launch and overseas expansion through building cooperative relationships with various partners."
Ringer Studio completed seed investment at the end of last year. Together with Bitsome One, it plans to hold the 'One Pick Song Audition' on the 19th, supporting emerging composers and producers to release new albums and issue NFTs through collaborations with famous artists.
