For High Achievers, Vulnerable Groups, and Students Needing Learning Support
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] The Jeonnam Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Foundation’) announced that it will support online lecture enrollment vouchers to bridge the educational gap in rural areas and support students' advanced learning.
The beneficiaries are 41 students currently enrolled at Gokseong High School and Okgwa High School, as well as youths affiliated with the Out-of-School Youth Support Center, and the support is fully free of charge.
The selection criteria for beneficiaries include high-achieving students, vulnerable groups, and those needing learning support, with selections made through recommendations from each school principal and the Dream Center director.
The selected students will receive enrollment vouchers for all subjects from a domestic internet lecture specialist company M.
The youths said, “We are very happy to be able to take lectures that we could not afford before due to cost burdens.
Studying alone without attending private academies was limiting, so this will be very helpful.”
A Foundation official stated, “We will continue to strive to provide high-quality lectures and efficient study systems to stimulate learning motivation and strengthen self-directed learning.”
