Woori Bank to Lower Jeonse Loan Interest Rates by Another 0.2 Percentage Points

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Bank will lower the jeonse loan interest rates once again following last month.

The targeted products are Woori WON Jeonse Loan, i-Touch Jeonse Loan, and Woori Smart Jeonse Loan, effective from the 14th. The interest rate reduction is 0.2 percentage points. Customers can choose Woori Jeonse Loan or the non-face-to-face jeonse loan with the 'New COFIX 6-month base rate.'

Woori Bank applied a special preferential interest rate of 0.2 percentage points on new mortgage loans and jeonse loans on the 21st of last month.

A Woori Bank official explained, "This is to alleviate the housing burden for actual jeonse users and to manage household debt at an appropriate level."
