Muan-gun Opens Applications for Housing Renovation for Disabled Residents in Farming and Fishing Villages

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, is promoting a support project for the renovation of houses for disabled people living in low-income households in rural fishing villages to improve their residential welfare.

The beneficiaries are registered disabled residents within the jurisdiction, who can receive support of up to 3.8 million KRW per household for home convenience facilities, installation of auxiliary handrails, lowering thresholds, adjusting sink heights, bathroom renovations, and more.

The county plans to select a total of 5 households by investing a total project budget of 19 million KRW.

Beneficiaries are selected based on income level priority among disabled persons who meet the income criteria, and those who have received similar support such as home repairs within the last three years are excluded from eligibility.

Applications for the project are being accepted at each eup/myeon office until the 13th, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Architecture Division of Muan County Office.
