The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) will host the Hoban Seoul Shinmun Women's Classic (total prize money of 1 billion KRW).
On the 11th, a signing ceremony was held at the KLPGA office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Hoban Group, which operates various businesses including construction, civil engineering, and resorts, is the title sponsor. They have been running a golf team since 2009. The tournament will open on July 22 at the H1 Club in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do. Kim Seon-gyu, chairman of Hoban Group, said, "It is an honor to be part of the KLPGA Tour," and promised, "We will support to make it the best tournament."
