Gyeonggawon, New Vision Declaration on the 11th

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency announced a new vision on the 11th.

On this day, the agency announced at the Gyeonggi Hall on the 3rd floor of the Gwanggyo headquarters in Suwon a new vision containing a commitment to the economic and scientific development of Gyeonggi-do and the realization of customer value.

The new vision announced by the agency is "GBSA, a customized support organization leading the economic and scientific development of Gyeonggi-do."

The new vision redefines the agency's role in building a future industrial ecosystem through proactive support for paradigm shifts and expresses the agency's determination to devote all efforts and passion to supporting the new leap and innovative growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province.

To achieve the vision, four strategic directions were presented: ▲ Establishing a growth foundation through full-cycle support ▲ Creating an innovation foundation through industry-academia-research collaboration ▲ Realizing customer value through on-site communication ▲ Implementing social value through management efficiency.

Earlier, the agency began establishing a mid- to long-term development plan at the end of last year and completed the new vision by gathering various opinions on the institution's development direction through interviews with executives and employees and consultations with external experts.

Yoo Seung-kyung, head of the agency, said in a commemorative speech at the vision proclamation ceremony, "Engrave the new vision in your heart, and all executives and employees of the agency should actively strive to help small and medium-sized enterprises utilize the new normal brought by COVID-19 and the new social and economic paradigm not as a crisis to overcome but as an opportunity for new leap and growth."
