Bithumb Meta Partners with Composer Kim Hyung-seok... Becomes Second Largest Shareholder of Noneuni Special Forces Entertainment

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Bithumb Meta announced on the 11th that it has made a strategic investment in Noneuni Special Forces Entertainment (Noneuni Special Forces) for a content partnership.

Bithumb Meta, a subsidiary of Bithumb Korea, became the second largest shareholder of Noneuni Special Forces through this investment. The two companies plan to create a healthy ecosystem environment where participants who create and utilize digital content on the metaverse platform can mutually enhance value.

Noneuni Special Forces was founded by CEO Kim Hyung-seok, a famous composer and producer. CEO Kim is known to have had a strong interest in digital content production using metaverse and NFT (non-fungible token) technology and entertainment infrastructure. Noneuni Special Forces plans to showcase its self-produced cyber band 'Sagong-iho (402ho)' through terrestrial broadcasting and media in May.

Kim Hyung-seok, CEO of Noneuni Special Forces, said, "Bithumb Meta's metaverse platform provides the optimal environment where digital creators can integrate their creative capabilities," adding, "It is expected to offer a completely different experience from existing exchange platforms to content creators, artists, and users who enjoy it."

Cho Hyun-sik, CEO of Bithumb Meta, said, "The cyber band Sagong-iho (402ho) that Noneuni Special Forces is preparing has a high potential to become a trend in the Web 3.0 world, similar to the famous NFT project BAYC (Bored Ape Yacht Club)," and added, "Bithumb Meta will continue various forms of collaboration with Noneuni Special Forces."
