LocknLock, Ranked No.1 in Two Categories of Korean Industry Brand Power


[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Lock&Lock reaffirmed its solid brand position by ranking first for 19 consecutive years in the airtight container category and for 6 consecutive years in the kitchenware category in the 2022 Korea Industry Brand Power Index (K-BPI) organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).


The Korea Industry Brand Power Index (K-BPI) is a representative domestic brand evaluation system that has conducted annual surveys since 1999 to assess the brand competitiveness of domestic industries. Lock&Lock demonstrated its strong brand power and consumer trust once again by maintaining first place in two categories: airtight containers and kitchenware.


In the airtight container category, Lock&Lock secured first place with a significant gap of about 105 points or more compared to the second-ranked brand and below. Both recognition power, which refers to the brand that comes to mind first in the product group, and loyalty power, which indicates product preference and reliability, were higher than the average of the top consumer goods companies, solidifying its status as the number one brand.


Lock&Lock is also strengthening its position in the kitchenware (cookware) category. The survey results showed that brand awareness increased compared to last year, and preference also rose.
