[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Seoul Business Agency (SBA, CEO Kim Hyun-woo) announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with global accelerator Antler Korea to foster outstanding startup companies.

Antler is a venture capital firm headquartered in Singapore, operating in 16 cities worldwide including New York, Stockholm, Berlin, London, Austin, Singapore, and Tokyo, currently managing assets worth approximately 2 trillion KRW. It established its Korean branch last October and plans to launch its first Korean program around July this year.

Through this business agreement, Seoul Startup Hub and Antler Korea will collaboratively operate the 'Startup Generator' placement program targeting prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs. This program compresses the entire process from idea validation to prototype development and investment attraction into six months, selecting 100 prospective entrepreneurs per cohort.

Prospective entrepreneurs selected for the Startup Generator program held at Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok will receive various support ranging from office space to investment. In addition to discovering and nurturing prospective entrepreneurs, the two organizations will continue to provide diverse support for the growth of outstanding startup companies.

Seong Dong-ho, head of Seoul Startup Hub, said, "To revitalize Seoul's startup ecosystem, it is important to discover and nurture early-stage startups with innovative ideas," adding, "We will spare no effort to support prospective entrepreneurs to grow and leap into global startups through this agreement."
