[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is operating the ‘First Step in Job Seeking! Employment Success Package’ program for job-seeking youth who have difficulties preparing for employment, such as writing self-introduction letters and interviews.
Recently, in the recruitment market, the importance of self-introduction letters and interviews is increasing over so-called ‘specs’ to find talents suitable for the job or company. This program was prepared to support employment success by providing opportunities for self-introduction letter correction and interview consulting.
The program targets unemployed youth aged 19 to 39 who reside in or are active in Gwangsan-gu, and will recruit 10 people on a first-come, first-served basis every month from this month until November, conducted both online and offline.
Employment professional counselors will provide one-on-one guidance to improve the completeness of self-introduction letters and offer group interview consulting after writing the self-introduction letters.
The interview consulting will be conducted in a way that asks and answers questions like an actual interview to help participants develop practical interview skills.
The first program participants of this year will be recruited from the 11th to the 17th of this month. Applications can be submitted by accessing the online link or the QR code on the web poster and filling out the participation application form.
