SK Telecom to Open 'T University Space University' at T Factory

[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] SK Telecom announced on the 10th that it will hold the ‘T University Space Festival’ event, where visitors can meet T Universe partners, at T Factory, an ICT complex cultural space, from the 11th until the end of June.


SK Telecom is designing T Factory with a university festival concept into three spaces: ▲ Lifestyle Campus ▲ Entertainment Campus ▲ F&B Campus, and has set up 10 booths for T Universe partners. At each booth, visitors can participate in games including six tablet games, arm wrestling, and rowing machines.


Customers who participate in the games can spin a coupon wheel at the gift zone prepared on the 2nd floor of T Factory to receive discount coupons. The coupons include discounts from T Universe partners such as ▲ Baskin Robbins ▲ Paris Baguette ▲ FLO ▲ Lotte Cinema ▲ Saenghwal Gongjakso ▲ Cleaning Lab ▲ Sound Gym ▲ About Pet ▲ Ring Tea ▲ Heodak, as well as a one-month free pass for the Universe Pass, totaling 100,000 coupons.

In addition, SK Telecom will hold an art exhibition program and music concerts featuring university students. The art exhibition program will be held from the 11th until the end of May at the pop-up exhibition zone on the 2nd floor of T Factory. This program was prepared to support art major university students who have fewer opportunities to exhibit their works, and will display 46 illustrations and paintings by 38 university students under the themes ‘My Universe’ and ‘Festival.’


The small-scale concert ‘DeokCon,’ which has hosted over 50 popular musicians and is a favorite among T Factory fans, will be opened to university students. A total of 13 university bands and dance clubs will hold open concerts.


Kim Sangbeom, head of distribution at SK Telecom, said, “We are pleased to prepare an experiential exhibition with a festival concept where the MZ generation can fully enjoy themselves at T Factory, an ICT complex cultural space representing Hongdae,” and added, “We will continue to prepare to provide many customers, including the MZ generation, with unique experiences and meaningful times.”
