Naver 'Clova Clock+2' Wins 'Red Dot Design Award'

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Naver's smart device 'Clova Clock+2' announced on the 10th that it won the German 'Red Dot Design Award 2022,' one of the world's top three design awards.

Launched by Naver in 2020, 'Clova Clock' visualizes frequently searched lifestyle information such as time, air quality, alarms, and weather at a glance, enhancing convenience. A notable feature is its infrared remote control function, which allows easy voice control of home appliances that are not smart devices.

Released in August last year, 'Clova Clock+2' is an upgraded version of 'Clova Clock,' with an added 'Extender' function that expands the Wi-Fi range, enabling comfortable internet use even in areas with weak Wi-Fi signals.

'Clova Clock+2' received high praise for its soft design that blends with the surrounding environment and its intuitive usability, winning the main prize in two categories?'Clock' and 'Smart Product'?in the product design section at this award.

Meanwhile, besides the German Red Dot Design Award, 'Clova Clock' has been recognized globally for its design excellence by winning numerous international awards such as the German iF Design Award last year and the Japanese Good Design Award in 2019.
