For GED Test Takers Including Military Youth Counseling Centers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Ulsan Ulju-gun Youth Counseling Welfare Center School Outside Support Center supported and delivered handmade lunchboxes for out-of-school youth on the 9th, along with encouraging messages.
The lunchboxes delivered that day were made directly by the '1388 Youth Support Group' affiliated with the School Outside Support Center and were given to 25 out-of-school youth preparing for the qualification exam.
The 1388 Youth Support Group is a private voluntary participation organization established to discover, rescue, and support at-risk youth in the region to activate the youth safety net operation.
A representative of the 1388 Youth Support Group said, "We are glad to have the opportunity to support and encourage out-of-school youth preparing for the qualification exam even during the COVID-19 situation," and added, "We hope out-of-school youth overcome social prejudice, achieve their desired dreams, and grow up healthily."
The Ulju-gun School Outside Youth Support Center provides various services such as one-on-one learning mentoring, qualification exam study support, university visits, and university entrance briefing sessions to help out-of-school youth return to school and enter society.
