A Total of Over 200 Works Featured in Elementary and Secondary School Textbooks to Be Presented
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Goryeong County in Gyeongbuk has been selected for the Daegaya Cultural Nuri 'Exhibition Space Activation Support' contest project and will operate an exhibition program.
This project is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, and is organized by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association, securing 30 million KRW in national funding.
The selected program is the 'Banjjokyi's Imagination Museum Exhibition.' It is an exhibition program featuring installation sculptures made from recycled materials, held for 38 days from June 10 to July 23 on the 2nd floor of the Daegaya Cultural Nuri exhibition hall.
A total of 200 works will be showcased, including pieces featured in elementary and middle school textbooks linked to the curriculum, works related to the middle school free semester system, and family-themed travel works.
Gwak Yong-hwan, the mayor of Goryeong County, said, "We hope to provide exhibition viewing opportunities for local residents and help nurture the emotions of children and adolescents."
