[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Jung-wan] Oman-seok's 'Intermission' and Jeong Bo-seok's 'Jomajoma' will face off in the opening game of this year's Celebrity Baseball League.
The '16th Goyang-Hanstar SBO Baseball League,' hosted and organized by the Korea Celebrity Baseball Association (hereafter SBO) and Hanstar Media Co., Ltd., will kick off an eight-month-long journey starting from the 11th at Janghang Baseball Stadium in Goyang City.
A total of 11 teams, divided into two groups, will compete in the league, including last year's champion Intermission (Manager Oman-seok), Gongnoriya (Hong Seo-beom), Lava (Jung Hyun-soo), Bromance (Song Ho-beom), Stars (Koo Byung-moo), Albatross (Jo Yeon-woo), Jomajoma (Jeong Bo-seok), Crusaders (Lim Ho), Invincible (Kim Chang-yeol), BMB (Yoo In-hyuk), and Grand Slam (Park Jae-jung).
Starting this year, the league will be divided into the first and second halves of the year, with the final champion decided in the King of Kings match on October 24, where the first-place teams from each half will compete.
Sponsored by Goyang City and the Goyang City Sports Council, the tournament will hold two games every Monday from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with live broadcasts available on the YouTube channels Homeground, HanstarTV, and Naver Sports HanstarTV.
