Get Online Certificates and Submit Offline with Just the Naver App

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] From now on, online certificates can be issued and used offline with just one Naver application (app).

Naver launched the 'Naver Electronic Certificate' service on the 7th, allowing users to issue 17 types of certificates issued by Government24, such as resident registration copies and health insurance qualification certificates, through the Naver app and submit them to public institutions and banks.

Utilizing the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's government electronic document wallet, a total of 17 types of certificates including vaccination certificates, driving record certificates, tax payment certificates, academic transcripts, and health and long-term care insurance premium payment confirmations are being introduced first, with plans to add 44 more types within the year, providing a total of 61 types of documents.

Users of Naver Electronic Certificates can obtain the necessary certificates with the Naver certificate without separate authentication or joint certificates. ▲Driving record certificates for identity verification when boarding domestic flights ▲Income amount certificates and health insurance qualification certificates required for bank loans can be easily submitted. Additionally, people with disabilities can conveniently verify their eligibility for fee reductions at museums, national parks, cinemas, etc., using certificates issued through 'Naver Electronic Certificate.'

Hwang Jihee, head of the Naver Electronic Signature Authentication Center, said, "Through the Naver Electronic Certificate service, more users will be able to experience the convenience of authenticating themselves with just one Naver app without cumbersome procedures both online and offline."
