Namwon Volunteer Center Recruiting 'Hanbok Experience Group' Until the 20th

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] The Jeonbuk Namwon Volunteer Center announced on the 7th that it is recruiting a 'Hanbok Experience Group' to guide tourists at Gwanghallu Garden until the 20th in celebration of the 92nd Chunhyang Festival.

The Chunhyang Festival, Korea's representative traditional cultural festival celebrating its 92nd edition this year, has been successfully carried on thanks to the efforts of countless volunteers who have rightfully been called unsung heroes.

This year, to provide a special experience for these volunteers, the center is expanding recruitment for the Hanbok Experience Group, which will promote and guide various events around Gwanghallu Garden during the Chunhyang Festival period.

Participants will be able to enjoy various experience programs while wearing Hanbok, receiving experience coupons worth 20,000 KRW, and if they post photos of themselves wearing Hanbok on SNS, they will additionally receive Namwon Love Gift Certificates worth 10,000 KRW, covering the area around Gwanghallu Garden with the warmth of Hanbok.

Lee Kwang-yeon, Chairman of the Chunhyang Festival Organizing Committee, said, "The success of any festival depends not on what is visible but on how many elements work seamlessly behind the scenes." He added, "This Hanbok Experience Group will showcase its presence in attire befitting the Chunhyang Festival, Korea's top traditional cultural festival."

He continued, "It will also serve as a lubricant to ensure that the tourists participating in the Chunhyang Festival and the various events prepared for them work together like cogwheels."
