Damyang-gun Conducts Training on Public Procurement Platform for Social Economy Enterprises

Targeting 35 Purchasing Officials and Others... Expected to Support Growth of Social Economy Enterprises

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 5th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it conducted a 'Social Economy Enterprise Public Procurement Platform Usage Training' at the county office's large conference room.

This training was held for 35 public procurement officials to enhance understanding of the social economy and raise interest and awareness about activating public procurement of social economy enterprise products.

In particular, the program was structured to enable social economy enterprise products to be linked to public procurement, covering ▲Understanding of the social economy ▲The necessity of ESG management in public institutions ▲The necessity of public procurement ▲Training and promotion on how to use the public procurement online platform.

The county plans to conduct public procurement training annually to foster an atmosphere of social value creation and product purchase expansion.
