[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, is conducting 'busking' that offers abundant attractions throughout the four seasons at tourist sites.

The busking event named 'Hapcheon Paper Airplane' takes place at the most splendid times at each tourist destination.

In April, at Hoeyang Tourist Site where cherry blossoms are in full bloom, a sweet acoustic performance will be held. In May, there will be azaleas at Hwangmaesan Mountain and a wonderful magic show; in June, guerrilla performances will be held at hidden tourist spots; in August, a magic show at the Hoeyang Tourist Site water playground to beat the heat; in October, a 7080 folk song performance with bright pink muhly grass; and in November, a traditional & fusion gugak (Korean traditional music) performance with the silver grass of Hwangmaesan Mountain will take place.

Various participatory events such as making and flying paper airplanes, music quizzes, and singing contests are also planned, including diverse performances.

The first event this year will be an acoustic performance suitable for spring, held every weekend from April 9 to 24 for three weeks at the Hoeyang Tourist Site performance hall by Hapcheonho Lake, where cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Moon Dong-gu, Director of Tourism Promotion Division, said, “Through this event, we aim to provide sights and entertainment at various tourist sites with excellent natural scenery, leaving deep memories and making Hapcheon a place visitors want to return to.”
