[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Real estate brokerage startup Jiptos announced on the 6th that it will hold an event offering a 100,000 KRW discount on brokerage fees for tenants signing their first lease contract through Jiptos.
The first contract brokerage fee support event is part of the ‘Jiptos Seoul Youth Housing Support Campaign,’ which began in October last year. Jiptos stated that the event was prepared to alleviate the difficulties faced by young people in their 20s and 30s searching for housing in Seoul during the spring moving season and to provide practical housing support.
The event targets tenants who consulted and signed contracts through the Jiptos direct real estate exclusive app from this month until June 30 and who are using Jiptos brokerage services for the first time. Tenants who complete contracts by June 30 will receive a 100,000 KRW brokerage fee support. The brokerage service area is Seoul.
Starting with this event, Jiptos plans to provide customized brokerage services tailored to young professionals and newlyweds, helping young people searching for homes save time and costs. After searching for listings on the exclusive app and applying for consultation, dedicated brokerage managers for each region recommend homes that fit each customer's conditions, and the Jiptos direct real estate offices handle property verification and contract processing. Jiptos explained that the seamless customized brokerage service will be a reason customers return to Jiptos.
Jiptos is a proptech startup providing brokerage services for one- and two-room small real estate primarily in Seoul. Starting with its first branch in Gwanak, it currently operates 15 direct real estate offices in Seoul. Each branch is staffed by licensed real estate agents directly hired and trained by Jiptos, and only properties collected and managed by an internal dedicated listings team are brokered. According to Jiptos, as of the first quarter of this year, the total transaction amount reached 1.8 trillion KRW, and the cumulative number of customer consultations exceeded 150,000.
Jae-yoon Lee, CEO of Jiptos, said, “We will introduce customized brokerage services so that the first contract with Jiptos can be the starting point of a lifelong housing partnership,” adding, “Even as living environments and housing search criteria change throughout life cycles, we will continue to work closely with customers to deepen our understanding and become the brokerage experts they turn to first.”
