[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Special apartment supply is expected to be provided to employees of public institutions relocated to Daejeon, including the Korea Meteorological Administration, Korea Forestry Promotion Institute, Power Human Resources Development Institute, and Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute.
Daejeon City plans to prioritize supplying apartments to employees without housing from the relocated institutions, including 12 units in Block 5 of Cheondong 3 District, Dong-gu, and 5 units in the special project apartment at Yongjeon Neighborhood Park, Daedeok-gu.
The special supply recipients will be selected through a joint review by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the city, and the results are expected to be announced on the 13th of this month.
A city official stated, "Once employees of the relocated institutions start working in Daejeon, they will be eligible for special supply for five years."
